Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer and Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will tackle complex problems with a particular focus on processing massive and continuous data flows.

Problem-solving and a drive to excel will be part of your daily routine, and you will collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop innovative solutions using modern tools. You’ll need to show initiative and discipline to plan, develop, deploy, and maintain the company’s systems, ensuring compliance with requirements, deadlines, and security best practices in your projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify solutions for complex infrastructure problems
• Design and implement resilient, secure, and scalable systems
• Ensure effective maintenance and development of various company systems
• Balance costs, performance, and functionality of existing and developing systems
• Research, test, and implement new techniques, practices, and technologies
• Coach the team and promote knowledge sharing

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 recent years in cloud infrastructure
• A degree in software engineering, computer science, or other equivalent diploma or certification
• Bilingual (English and French)

You Should Be Proficient With

• Cloud Platforms: At least one major cloud platform (e.g., GCP)
• Backend Programming: At least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js)
• Containerization & Serverless: Virtualization and Docker container deployment
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform)
• CI/CD: Setting up and maintaining an automated pipeline (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Monitoring and Observability: Resource and infrastructure monitoring tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus)
• Security: Implementation and adherence to security best practices

It’s a Plus If You Have Experience With

• Fullstack development
• A frontend framework such as Angular, React, Svelte, etc.
• Event-driven architecture and data processing pipelines
